How to read your Gmail via RSS.

All you have to do is subscribe to:
https://username:password@mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom

Note that if you don't use https (or your RSS reader doesn't support it)
a hacker could easily see your password, because it's right there in plaintext in
the packet!

You get to see the first 90 characters of the email too.

Now if you could only email people too!

2005-11-30 Update:
This URL: 'http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13465&topic=1574'
states that it is https://gmail.google.com/gmail/feed/atom, though
we know gmail's virtual folder is /mail, not /gmail. I wonder if google's email servers are also their search servers, and groups servers, because I notice that every google service has it's own folder, /mail, /base, /groups, even though it is on a different domain. In other words google's system is completely distributed.
So just think, people are searching the web on the same server you're reading your email!

It also says this:

If you'd like to have a label view in your aggregator, just add the label name to the end of the feed URL. So, to view your 'work' label as a feed, it's https://gmail.google.com/gmail/feed/atom/work/.

Please keep in mind that Gmail messages will appear in your aggregator only if there are unread messages in your inbox.
